The Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program is designed to improve and protect water quality by addressing pollution that can occur when stormwater flows into our local waterways. Stormwater runoff can pick up pollutants such as trash, oil, chemicals, and sediment, which can negatively impact the environment, wildlife, and the health of our water resources.
Our city is dedicated to maintaining clean water through the implementation of effective stormwater management practices. The MS4 program is a collaborative effort between the Sewer Collection, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and various city departments to reduce stormwater pollution and promote community engagement and education.
