Stephanie J. Kiser was appointed to the position of law director in January 2019. In addition to this position, Stephanie is also an assistant prosecutor with the Seneca County Prosecutor’s Office. Stephanie has been at the Seneca County Prosecutor’s Office since August 2013. Her primary responsibility at the Prosecutor’s Office is handling all levels of felony crimes. She has tried over a dozen cases and has successfully prosecuted Seneca County’s first involuntary manslaughter case for a drug overdose and received a maximum sentence.
Stephanie is a member of the Seneca County Opiate Task Force, as well as a member of the Seneca County PIVOT specialized drug court.
Stephanie is originally from the Tiffin area. She graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School where she was a member of the tennis team. Stephanie graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2009. She graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2012 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar later that year.
Fostoria became Stephanie’s adopted hometown in 2015 after she met her husband. She is married to Justin Kiser and she has one stepson, Elijah, one son, Reed, and three furry sons (dogs).
